You know, they were never actually called "Female Furies" onscreen,

That character was never identified with a name.

Apart from a throwaway line from Chloe, the character is never identified as "Bizarro". The character gets called "the Phantom" and "Clark Kent" (when posing as him).

Mxyzptlyk was a foreign exchange student with gambling powers,
Just some random metahuman named "Mxyzptlk". For the record, "Mxyzptlk" isn't the real name of the imp from the 5th Dimension. It's a name he gives himself, because his own name can't be pronounced and he needed a difficult to spell name, when he challenged Superman to make him say his name backwards. It's a fact adaptations always miss...except for...possibly...here. By having a guy named "Maikhail Mxyzptlk" show up in one episode, it establishes "Mxyzptlk" as a real name, rather than some random letters a certain imp throws together. Instead, the imp looks up difficult to spell names and picks this one.

I guess you could consider not having these characters go by names like "Bizarro" or "Lashina", as a form of plausible deniability. You can have a version show up (and there's been many Bizarros) and encounter Clark pre-Superman, without having an actual commitment to him/her being the real deal. Basically, you can have a girl with whips show up, then, if you ever want, you can easily introduce the Lashina from Apokolips, without any continuity errors. It's not quite clear what happened to Granny Goodness in the series finale. She and the other two turned to smoke, when Oliver hit them each with an arrow and vanished. Did they die or were they banished to Apokolips? If the latter, then it's likely that Granny sets up a new orphanage on the planet, where she begins shaping some of her orphans after some of the girls from her old orphanage here on Earth (even giving some Earth-sounding names like "Mad Harriet" and "Scott Free"). Leading to the creation of the "Female Furies".

They did the same with the Justice League. They had a team show up and frequently appear on the show, but it was never onscreen identified as the "Justice League". So, when Bryan Q. Miller wrote the season 11 comic, he could easily establish it as the "Watchtower Network" and then conclude S11 with the actual Justice League being founded.
