I'd like a JLA show and they can spin-off Angel of Vengeance or even a Titans division. They don't need to be teens, but still.

The Ted Kord version of Blue Beetle is INFINETLY superior to Reyes IMO....he should appear in Smallville if anything....a less obsessive version of Batman...I mean thats all GA was...at least on Smallville...a Batman clone.
Booster Gold would be awesome too....especially now is Time-cop role. Combine it and just give us 'Blue & Gold'.Comment

Why not avoid having "another Batman clone" and going with the Reyes version then to keep things fresh?Comment

The prolem with the idea for this show wasn't Dick Grayson, it was the time of his life they wanted to focus on. Before being Robin, Dick is just some circus kid. He's not having adventures, he's not training to be a hero, he doesn't have any special abilities. He's an acrobat who tours with his family. That story could maybe work for a movie if it was very well done.
However in the time after he's Robin there is a ton of potential for stories to be told. If they wanted to, they could make it like the young Batman show they could never do and focus on his training. Or they could make a show called Bludhaven where he's basically Nightwing. It could be very similar to how Smallville does Green Arrow and it would probably be easier to make a black and blue costume look good than a green one. Tone wise it would probably be a little darker than Smallville because with Nightwing you're more grounded in reality. Any way you do it, you've got an interesting basis: an ex-sidekick is trying to step out of his partners shadow and become his own man. There are so many things could do like have Barbara Gordon be a recurring character, maybe have Bruce (who never appears) send Tim to train with Dick for a while. THese are characters the movies are unlikely to touch so they could work very well on TV.Comment
