The first episode of ABC’s new immortal drama Forever has screened online already, and it will also have a “special preview” screening on Monday, September 23 before settling into its regular Tuesday-at-10 timeslot on 9/24.
The first episode to air on Tuesdays – the show’s second – is called “Look Before You Leap.” Here’s how ABC describes it:

“Look Before You Leap” – After Henry pegs the case of a would-be bridge jumper as a homicide while the police label it a suicide, he and Jo go on a rogue investigation for proof. Meanwhile, Henry’s anonymous caller surfaces again. Apparently, he has been tracking him for years. A letter on antique stationary might provide Henry a fascinating clue about the caller, and he enlists Abe’s help in tracing the note’s history to a foreign locale. Revealing flashbacks unveil the beginning of Henry’s great love affair with his soon-to-be wife, Abigail, on “Forever,” TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
“Forever” stars Ioan Gruffudd as Henry, Judd Hirsch as Abe, Alana De La Garza as Detective Jo Martinez, Lorraine Toussaint as Lt. Joanne Reece, Donnie Keshawarz as Detective Hanson and Joel David Moore as Lucas.
Guest starring are Mackenzie Mauzy as Abigail, James McCaffrey as Browning and Dave Quay as Paul.
