CBS has issued an official write-up for the pilot episode of Elementary which airs on Thursday, September 27. This modern take on Sherlock Holmes sees Jonny Lee Miller as the famed detective with Lucy Liu as his Watson.

“Pilot” – Detective Sherlock Holmes, along with his sober companion, Dr. Joan Watson, uses his uncanny ability to read people and analyze crimes to assist the NYPD on some of their more difficult cases. In the season premiere, Holmes consults on a home invasion that resulted in murder, on ELEMENTARY, Thursday, Sept. 27 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

This show is gonna bomb hard! It will not and cannot be anything as magnificent as BBC’s Sherlock. Cumberbatch and Freeman have these 2 b*tches BEAT!
