Cristal thought that she could escape her troubled past by moving to the United States and changing her name. Putting the physical distance between her current and former selves would allow her the fresh start that wouldn’t have been possible had she stayed in Venezuela, while she would do what she had to in order to ensure her family was taken care of. It was a plan that seemed to be working, as she’s risen to the COO of Carrington Atlantic and married into a family of power and connection, but on the next episode of Dynasty, Cristal finds out that no one, not even a Carrington, can outrun their past.
Previously, Cristal knew that her house of cards was beginning to tilt, as Anders easily ran a background check that produced her real identity and her sister found herself in a compromising position that required some quick cash. But this was managed; her sister, which only Sam knew about, was all in the way in Venezuela and Anders didn’t seem to be in any rush to out her to Blake. However, the threat has now arrived at Cristal’s doorstep in the form of ominous messages from those she thought she escaped when she came to America. For all that Cristal has done to try and escape who she was, there’s nothing that could keep Blake or the rest of the Carringtons from getting the real story on Celia Machado, but will Cristal be willing to risk her marriage in order to save herself? Or will she be forced into telling her side of the story as means of self-preservation?
Elsewhere on Dynasty, Fallon attempts to move on from an old flame, while Steven and Jeff band together to redirect Blake’s money from Stansfield to the boxing center.
Dynasty airs Wednesdays at 9:00 on The CW.
How long will it be before Blake is aware of Cristal’s past? What will it take for Fallon to finally move on? Will Steven and Jeff successfully strip Stansfield of the dirty money from Blake?
