BBC America has announced an August 23 return date for Doctor Who in the United States.
The show will air at 8PM (ET) on that Saturday night, and it will precede the new series Intruders which stars Doctor Who alum John Simm (The Master).
The new season features Jenna Coleman continuing in her role as companion Clara Oswald and fully introduces Peter Capaldi as the new Doctor. A new “world tour” to promote the new season is starting in August.
The season premiere, airing on August 23, is a feature-length story called “Deep Breath.”
