BBC America has released some preview images for “The Doctor Falls” which is the July 1 season finale of Doctor Who. (Series finale, if you’re in the United Kingdom.) Will Peter Capaldi’s Doctor regenerate already? Or are there more adventures for the 12th Doctor yet to come? Whatever happened to that First Doctor team-up rumor?
In any event, here’s how they describe the episode, which runs at an extended length and starts at 8:30PM Saturday, preceding Orphan Black:
The Doctor makes a final stand against an army of Cybermen, to protect a tiny band of humans from destruction.
