Though Dirk has spent much of his time investigating the Cardenas case too worried about the impact his actions had on others, his time in Wendimoor gave him the shot in the arm that he needed. The exposure to the second mural pushed him toward the answers about the Cardenas murders that he had been seeking and he was able to help free Todd and Amanda from sure execution at the hands of the Dengdamors. Now that Dirk has his friends back, along with the Rowdy 3 and his new buddy The Beast, he has the ammunition and motivation necessary to finish this case and bring peace to Wendimoor once and for all. But first, he’s going to have to get through the double whammy of Suzie Boreton and the Kellum Knights.
On the next episode of Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, Dirk and company come across Suzie Boreton, who has lost the last of her grasp on sanity since arriving in Wendimoor. In order to rule this vast land and attain the power that she didn’t have in her regular life, Suzie must destroy the one person who can bring peace to Wendimoor and unite the Dengdamors with the Trosts – Dirk Gently. If that part of the prophecy cannot be completed, the land will be beset by chaos, making it ripe for the taking with the help of her trusty wand. While Dirk might have some fire power on his side, Suzie has only grown stronger during her time in the magical dark side, so much so that she was able to dispatch Wakti fairly easily. Any chance that he and his friends have at emerging victorious and fighting their way toward a date at Blackwing rests on their ability to separate Suzie from her wand and Todd and Amanda putting their differences aside in order to ensure a united front. Can Todd and Amanda forget their lingering tension in order to help Dirk defeat Suzie and put them one step closer to securing peace for Wendimoor?
