Degrassi’s “Declan Coyne” is following the lead of Nina Dobrev and Shenae Grimes by leaving the series for a high-profile project on a major U.S. network.
Variety broke the news yesterday that Landon Liboiron will be playing the son of the lead character, played by Jason O’Mara, and his wife, played by Shelley Conn. Landon’s character, Josh Shannon, is described as being “torn between two role models” and “mourning the girl he left behind.”
Naomi Scott and Alana Mansour will be playing the other Shannon children.
