Syfy has released a trailer for upcoming drama Deadly Class and in it, we see teenagers whose biggest worry goes beyond prom, college, and SAT scores.
Based on the best-selling graphic novel from Rick Remender and developed for television by Remender and Miles Orion Feldsott (Bionic Woman),Deadly Classtells the story of Marcus, a homeless teen recruited into an elite private school that houses the progenies of the world’s most notorious crime families.The series, set in the late 1980s, chronicles the teen’s attempts to hold on to his moral compass in the face of a disreputable peer group and curriculum set on producing the world’s next wave of violent criminals.
The series starsBenedict Wong (Doctor Strange), Benjamin Wadsworth (Teen Wolf), Lana Condor (X-Men: Apocalypse), Luke Tennie (Shock and Awe), Liam James (The Killing), Michel Duval (Queen of the South), and Maria Gabriela de Faria (Sitiados).
Part of a scripted slate that includes the likes of Wynonna Earp, Killjoys, and The Magicians, Deadly Class is set to premiere in 2019 on Syfy.
