Gary Ewing (Ted Shackelford) visits from Knots Landing in the new episode of Dallas airing tonight (March 4) on TNT, an episode that looks like it just might be a historic one, as, after over 370 episodes, it may be the end for Larry Hagman’s J.R. Ewing.
Here’s the official description courtesy of TNT:
In the aftermath of John Ross and Sue Ellen’s coup to take over Ewing Energies, Bobby retaliates with his brother’s help, Gary (guest star Ted Shackelford), leaving the family in a Mexican standoff. Meanwhile, Pamela is caught between Christopher and John Ross, as the cousins clash, with it all culminating in a winner-take-all car race.
TNT has also released a few images from the episode. Sadly nothing too groundbreaking, but it’s something. Don’t forget the big J.R. funeral episode, “J.R.’s Masterpiece,” airs March 11, and TNT will be offering several methods to watch the episodes leading up to it, including a marathon, in the coming days.
