Cult, which has struggled to find an audience despite some talented folks being involved, will be facing a conundrum even Steven Rae couldn’t have created: no place on the schedule.
The CW has pulled Cult, at least for the next few weeks. This week, Cult is replaced with a repeat of The Carrie Diaries. After that, we get repeats of Oh Sit! on April 19 and 26.
It is quite possible the remaining unaired episodes of Cult could air in May, or later… heck, we already have some preview images from them… but things are not looking good. The CW hasn’t announced anything either way regarding further episodes of Cult, though we have sent out an e-mail to the network for comment. One thing’s for sure: a second season of Cult on The CW at this point is about as likely as our KryptonSite April fool’s gag for this year.
Is it too soon to hope Alaric comes back to The Vampire Diaries sooner rather than later? We need more Matt Davis on our screens!
