Episode 8 of Containment, airing on June 14, is called “There Is A Crack In Everything,” and The CW has now released an official description for the episode as well as some preview photos. Here’s the description:
BLUEPRINT FOR A CURE — Dr. Cannerts (George Young) makes a major breakthrough that brings him one step closer to finding a cure for the virus. Meanwhile, after monitoring hospital surveillance from the day of the outbreak, Katie (Kristen Gutoskie) and Jake (Chris Wood) unravel the truth behind Patient Zero. Elsewhere, Jana (Christina Moses) and Suzy (guest star Nadine Lewington) move forward with a plan to escape the cordon using the city’s underground tunnel system. Finally, a risky operation to extract the potential antidote from the cordon takes an unexpected turn. David Gyasi, Claudia Black and Trevor St. John also star. Elliott Lester directed the episode written by Ariella Blejer & Dawn Kamoche (#108). Original airdate 6/14/2016.
