Showtime has released the first trailer for upcoming crime drama City on a Hill and in it, we see a city in flux and a criminal population ready to seize their moment.
A fictional account of the “Boston Miracle” police operation,City on a Hilltakes place in the early 1990s and finds Boston a hot bed for criminals emboldened by the racist and corrupt local law enforcement agencies.The series is all about what happens when a new normal is instituted in the city and criminals aren’t given the free rein they once enjoyed.

City on a Hill joins a scripted slate for Showtime that includes The L Word, The Affair, Homeland, Shameless, Kidding, Billions, and SMILF. The series is set to premiere Sunday, June 16th at 9:00 on Showtime.
