“Civil War” is the title of the new episode of Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove airing next week on the Hallmark Channel.
Airing on Saturday, August 15, “Civil War” sees Olivia (Andie MacDowell) and Jack (Dylan Neal) confronting each other about their trust issues and wondering if men and women can truly be just friends. Then, Olivia is concerned after Grace (Teryl Rothery) calls off her engagement to Cliff (Sebastian Spence), even as Grace insists she is fine with her decision. But Bob (Bruce Boxleitner) and Peggy (Barbara Niven) also aren’t buying it and secretly devise a plan to prove she is only kidding herself. Then, as Olivia serves Will (Cameron Bancroft) papers to prove she is serious about stopping his real estate plans, some unsolicited advice from Paul (special guest star Colin Ferguson) makes her second guess putting everything at stake for a piece of property.
Justine (Sarah Smyth) wants to help when she meets a fellow veteran from Luke’s (Jesse Hutch) past who is running away from his life and hiding a terrible secret. And after Jack helps Alex (Rebecca Marshall) navigate a test of her sobriety while Olivia spends even more time alone with Paul, everyone learns ignoring a problem won’t make it go away.
The show also stars Timothy Webber (“Moon”), Cindy Busby (“Rebecca”), Anna Van Hooft (“Linnette”), Elyse Levesque (“Maryellen”), Tara Wilson (“Gloria”) and Julia Benson (“Jeri”).
