FOX has renewed Bones for an 11th season, and series stars David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel are both signed on to be back for the new season.
There will be some changes behind the scenes, though: executive producer Jonathan Collier and co-executive producer Michael Peterson will now be the new showrunners for the series. It is said that current showrunner Stephen Nathan is taking a “temporary leave.”
Bones joins Empire, Gotham, and Sleepy Hollow on the list of returning hour-long dramas for the network, which picked up another drama, Rosewood, yesterday. More announcements are expected to come before FOX reveals their 2015-2016 schedule on Monday, May 11.
