Deadline is reporting that Michael Harney (Orange Is the New Black) and Lost Girl alum Ksenia Solo have joined upcoming History drama Blue Book. Harney is set as Air Force General Hoyt Vandenberg, a powerful and highly decorated veteran who is in charge of secretive Project Blue Book, while Solo will play Susie, a stylish and highly underestimated newcomer to town who quickly makes friends with Dr. Hynek’s wife Mimi (Laura Mennell).
In addition to his role on the Netflix dramedy, Harney has appeared on the likes of Weeds, Persons Unknown, and True Detective, whereas Solo’s television credits include TURN: Washington’s Spies, Orphan Black, and Life Unexpected.
Joining a scripted slate that includes Vikings and Six, Blue Book is set to premiere next year on History.
