I did not understand the finale to the show tonight. What law allows a perp to investigate his victim’s home and how did the visit by the Regan family help his case?

    2. Paul Cox on Mar 6, 2020 10:14 pm

Did not understand what was going on with the Ed Asner character and why the guy was allowed to come back and harass him.

Why Mr Heide allowed to return to the crime scene?

    4. Erva on Mar 7, 2020 3:30 am

Why did the law allow a criminal to intimidate a victim in this episode? The peep is allowed to return to the victim’s house that he robbed and beat up? That doesn’t make any sense!!!

    5. Kathy Druck on Mar 7, 2020 10:19 am

Does anyone know if the law regarding Ed Asner’s case is actually on the books in NYC?

    6. Bob on Mar 7, 2020 11:46 am

They need to explain why the perp was allowed to come back to the victim’s apartment to view it. We viewers dont know NY law and didn’t understand what was going on with this storyline. If it is the law, it needs to be changed to protect the victim.

    7. Eddie on Mar 8, 2020 5:59 am

Could someone explain why the perp was allowed to return to the scene. This is the only episode of blue bloods that I don’t understand

    8. Ronnie on Mar 8, 2020 5:30 pm

Unbelievably annoyed with an episode that leaves the viewer completely in that dark about a elderly victim (Mr. K) being scared about the anticipated return of the perpetrator. No explanation given during this episode and viewers wondering who was the “brains???” behind this script! Blue Bloods has always provided quality content, but this one was disastrous!

    9. Eric on Mar 10, 2020 6:48 pm

New York state passed a law that, beginning January 1, 2020, a defendant has the right to petition to return to the alleged crime scene to take pictures, measurements, etc, for their defense. Even if it’s in a person’s home. And the crazy thing is that if the victim refuses the law allows for them to be arrested for obstruction.

Thank you, Eric!! We aren’t crazy after all. We agree with the previous posts.

    11. KC on Mar 26, 2020 5:54 pm

Thank you Eric – Been searching internet for an hour for this explaination. What a terrible law!! Way to protect victims NY
