Julian Slink eats, sleeps, and breathes the Blood Drive. Not only does getting to put on his costume and embrace being the Master of Ceremonies at the Mayhem parties give him the attention he craves, he relishes the control he has over the racers vying to become Primo. Slink could conceivably do whatever he wants and throw whatever curveball at the racers his heart desires as long as it helps move the needle in the positive way, so while he’s not fully autonomous over the race considering Heart’s investment, he’s got a pretty decent gig going. However, Julian might have gotten a bit too comfortable with his high profile gig over the Blood Drive, as Heart is now moving to replace him once and for all.
On the next episode of Blood Drive, Heart goes after The Gentleman as Julian’s successor, thinking that his is the fresh blood the race needs to in order to prosper once again. Rather than looking to promote from within their ranks, the corporation reached to one of the racers in the Blood Drive due to his intimate understanding of the race and how his involvement could bring about the sense of importance to proceedings that Slink simply wasn’t able to produce. However, Julian isn’t going to take his demotion lightly, especially when the man replacing him is someone he once lorded over; in order to gain back the control he lost at the hands of Old Man Heart, he turns to the corporation itself and dredges up a hideous demon from the bowels of Heart Enterprises to do his bidding. No matter who has to be taken out, no matter how much collateral damage occurs, Julian is going to get his position as Master of Ceremonies back. And who knows? Maybe Heart will look the other way as long as he puts on a good show in the process.

Will Slink be able to seize control of the Blood Drive from Heart after this latest stunt? How will the presence of the demon impact Grace and Arthur’s standing in the race? Would the racers be better off with Slink in control or should they be rooting for Heart to get its way?
