Arthur managed to prove his worth to Grace after rescuing her from Karl’s meat truck. For as cautious and conservative as he might be, Grace now knows that Arthur is going to have her back during the race and though she might not necessarily trust him, given that she hardly knows him, she can forge an alliance with him long enough for each of them to get what they want. The closer they get to winning the race, which would give Grace money to rescue Karma and Arthur the opportunity to bring down the Blood Drive once and for all, they more they’re going to have to rely on one another, even if they might not always see eye to eye.
On the next episode of Blood Drive, the rim on Grace’s car gets bent, forcing her and Arthur to contemplate taking a detour. While everybody else in the race makes the trek toward the next pit stop in Salt Lake City, the nearest place where they can get the parts necessary to fix the car resides in mysterious Steel City, a 30 mile detour into a barren wasteland of a city that might be more dangerous than the race itself. Grace and Arthur only have a short amount of time in which they can be in Steel City before the nocturnal creatures that inhabit the city come out in full force, but the risk of coming face-to-face with the faces beyond the creepy glowing eyes is worth it if they can get the car back in the shape necessary to contend for the title. Yet even if the car does get fixed up as good as new, could they be burning enough time that making it to the front of the pack becomes impossible?
Blood Drive airs Wednesdays at 10:00 on Syfy.
Will Grace and Arthur be able to fix their car in time to make it back into the race? What type of progress will Christopher make while working undercover at Heart? Could this be the leg where Julian tries to bring on the blood in order to please his higher-ups?
