FOX has released the first preview for upcoming 90210 revival BH90210, soundtracked to Lenny Kravitz’s “It Ain’t Over ‘Til It’s Over” and showcasing the first table read.
From Chris Alberghini and Mike Chessler (Daytime Divas), this incarnation of Beverly Hills, 90210 is a meta twist on the original and finds original series stars Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green, and Tori Spelling reuniting when one of them suggests it’s time to get a Beverly Hills, 90210 reboot up and running. The series follows the cast, playing heightened versions of themselves, as they scramble to put together a new version of the show that was so important to their lives.
Original series star Shannen Doherty recently signed on to the revival, which was announced prior to Luke Perry’s untimely passing. It’s as yet unclear how the series will address Perry’s absence.
BH90210 is set to premiere Wednesday, August 7th at 9:00 on FOX.
