One of the more surprising CW pilot pick-up orders is for Betwixt, based on a novel that isn’t necessarily that buzzed-about. Surely the network is trying to capitalize on the success of The Vampire Diaries, but will that work?

Reviews on Amazon seem to be mixed. This one might be one of those pilot gambles that either goes nowhere or becomes a big hit.
