Smallville beauty Kristin Kreuk has a new superhero in The CW’s upcoming remake of CBS series Beauty And The Beast.
In it, Kristin plays a detective named Catherine Chandler who encounters a mysterious man named Vincent, who is played by Jay Ryan.
The CW this morning released a 3o-second (or so) teaser for the pilot which can be found below. The show will air Thursdays at 9PM following The Vampire Diaries, and it is expected to launch in October.

Yeah, they already tried this show on the WB… it was called TARZAN. With a much more interesting story back-ground and amazing cast AND writers!!! Too bad it got the boot after only 8 episodes… don’t see this fairing much better!
