Sometimes, TV series like to do “game changer” episodes around the middle of the season to propel a series toward the season finale. The Thursday, February 21 episode of The CW’s Beauty And The Beast is one of those types of episodes, as everything has been building to a certain moment, and just as quickly, everything can crash down into chaos. Certain character relationships will change in Thursday night’s show, and it’s the type of episode that will have “Beasties” anticipating what could possibly happen next.
Here are some teasers for the episode, which is titled “Tough Love.” Bonus for Smallville fans: It’s written by the fan favorite writing team of Don Whitehead and Holly Henderson!
1. Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner? At the end of last week’s episode, Heather caught Vincent and Cat in a very close position. Vincent makes a hasty exit, which makes Heather even more curious about the guy. It turns out she recognizes Vincent from their father’s wedding, and has figured out that Vincent is the “@$$” that Cat has talked about; the one who left her for an ex.
Excited to the point of being annoying, Heather insists that Cat has Vincent over for dinner, at which time she starts grilling him mercilessly. She also invites an additional person to the dinner, making it even more awkward.
2. Intervention. Heather and Tess decide to stage an intervention, especially once they find that Vincent Zlansky “does not exist.” My apologies if I spelled that name wrong. Both of them offer ultimatums to Cat – it’s either Vincent or them.
3. Evidence. Cat and Vincent learn that Heather has photos of Vincent from the wedding, and they make it a priority to get rid of any of the photographic evidence before Muirfield catches wind of it all.
4. Tragedy. Something fatal and horrible happens to a character, and that death will affect each and every BATB character. It also might change the course for the rest of the season for several characters.
5. Set Your DVR’s. There are a few “do-not-reveals” that came with the episode screener, so I’ll just say this: If you’re a huge fan of Beauty And The Beast, you’re going to also want to DVR this one, because there’s a scene that you will want to see on repeat. You’ll probably also want to make some screen captures. I’ve probably said enough and don’t want to lose my screener privileges, so I’ll say no more. Wait, I lied: I also want to say “be sure to tune in.”
Thursday’s Beauty And The Beast has me curious enough to want to see what happens next, and if it does that, then they must be doing something right. Check it out February 21 on The CW. Below, find some screen captures from the episode’s trailer:

Thank you for the heads up- you have me hooked. This show is growing on me. I watch a few CW shows, Arrow, TVD and SN –this one is moving up near the top of my CW list. I enjoy the combination of action, mystery, sexual tension and a touch of comedy. Great way to spend the hour. don’t have a DVR but will be sure and itune it!!
It sounds like we are finally going to get this relationship off the ground!! I have been patiently waiting for that first kiss. These two are great together. I look forward to my Thursday fix every week. This one seems like a do not miss episode!! Great fun. Thanks for the teasers–don’t worry you didn’t give it away :)
Thanx for the information! We #beasties are thrilled to have some news energy PR. so it DVR time and definitely gonna tune in.
Can’t wait until Thursday! Love this show. I’m thinking we may finally get some lip action and possibly then some, but I have a feeling it’s going to come at a cost. Something awful is gonna happen and I think it’s going to cause Vincent to have to leave temporarily, hence the “One last goodbye” and then maybe the long awaited for heartfelt kiss? Just my guess!
BATB in season 2?… all u need to do is shirtless Vincent Keller!!! :))
Dear writer please reveal because I don’
t think I can wait one more day for this episode. We will get your screening privileges back for you we beasties are fierce!
Heather her nerve!!! Cat should leave her!
I think this episodes,no hug & kiss again between Vin&Cat coz of Heather. Right???
Oh Well, that they want…aaarrrrrrrrrr
This was already aired last week! Anyway, it was very enjoyable. Heather was definitely a pain in this one and last! Intervention, my eye, so ridiculous. I loved the original series and this one has starting growing on me. As long as I didn’t compare, then it was fine. The chemistry has started to finally kick in with Cat and Vincent. Good show and excellent episode, except for the ridiculous intervention ultimatum!
