The CW has released a description for the March 10 episode of Beauty And The Beast.
It’s titled “About Last Night” and here’s the synopsis. If you missed the promo images that were previously released to promote the episode, you can find those below.
CAT AND VINCENT ARE REMINDED OF HOW IN LOVE THEY ONCE WERE — In order to prevent Sam (guest star Tom Everett Scott) from destroying a large group of people, Cat (Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent (Jay Ryan) are forced to revisit a romantic destination from their past, which enables them to come to a new realization about what they mean to one another. Nina Lisandrello and Austin Basis also star. Stuart Gillard directed the episode written by Melissa Glenn (#216).

Definitely don’t feel these 2 anymore. Way too much has happened, too many lines have been crossed and viewers have ALL the images and memories of a very badly thought out and written Season 2.
Vincat’s relationship will never be like Season 1; it’s no longer special and it’s no longer true love, especially if they can hop into bed with others so easily and so quickly.
I feel the same as Serena. I didn’t feel anything when they kissed on ep 215. They writers have effectfully killed the magic between these two for me. There’s no longer any anticipation. Having them sleeping around took it too far, and especially Cat with Gabe who tried to kill them last season.
Im still here and still watching. Yes, I feel like most of the season was wasted on absolute foolishness and crossed 2 many horrid lines.But here’s the thing.. Jay Ryan and Kristin Kreuk r remarkable and beautiful together. They r the magic an what makes this show so special. Every time I think abt how that was squandered…anyway we r getting them now finally r loving Vincent and Catherine, once again and I’m gonna love & enjoy whatever of them I’ve got left! #BATB
BTW Can we get a featured promo pic with the couple we love & want 4 once this season? Enough infuriating photos of pairs we have no interest in already! #BATB

Yes I am too Still Here. As much as I have hated a lot of what hs happened this year and feel so sad for this awesome show, I am holding on to whatever I can get out of this season. Though we are not quite there yet, I feel like 216 wll finally put the horrid pairing of Cat and Gabe to rest and we can begin the VINCAT arc of the season. The two actors, JR and KK bring so much to the screen and THEY, and AB and NL are the reason I am still watching. I DO NOT want to see those two in anything other than Beauty and the Beast.
I am here too! Love the show! Love the Fab 4-loved season 1. AM not scared to admit how I feel even though have been told over and over again I should not be positng nonsupportive comments about the show. I will fight to the end to keep show going. I am hoping that I will finally get satisfaction by something Brad Kerns has done and that is give us a truly romantic VinCat episode in 216. I hope that by the end, Gabe, Cat are done and that even though VINCAT will not be together, we have been told, they will have admitted their feelings for each other and the next arc will be the VINCAT arc so after we have waited the tortuous 2 or 3 month waiting period, again, we will start 217 with them together and working through their new old love. This was suppose to be a new love story this year, but really it is just the same love story but with different facets. Its too bad that wasn’t the season arc instead of the
one that they tried and failed, or knew was not working but didn’t re-visit and change.
But will get what I can out of this season and I will always have season 1.
yes (i am still here ) i feel exactly the same when i open this page and see a photo of Gabe and Cat in front ?! i feel those sites which insist to throw in our faces photos of that couple who is meaningless ,unwanted and hated from most of the fans , those sites have no respect at all to the fans ! for God sake it isn’t Gabe show ? it is Beauty and the Beast ! and we only care to see their photos , why can you understand and respect that ?
Sometimes in life we stumble across something so beautiful, so rare and so unexpected. The genuine nature of it is truly remarkable especially when so much today is not. And when we find it we want to just love it and cherish it and let it shine in all it’s glory as a testament to the world. We protect it at all cost because we would never want to take it’s value nor it’s impact for granted. We’d want no harm to ever come to it.
This was and always has been the gift of Beauty and the Beast and I really “feel sorry more than anything” for those who never realized that and saw fit to tear it apart. If we don’t get a 3rd season I’m ok, because I was given this gift in S1 and hope I’ll get a glimpse of it in the final episodes of this season. Thank you Jay and Kristin for bringing this rare and beautiful gift to r world. God Bless You Both! I will always be a beastie for ever!!! There has to be a season 3 . They need to give it a chance there will be so many questions that are going to be asked. They can’t cancel it, I am attached to it. Everytine I get attached to a good show they end up getting canceled and it’s a frequent thing they like to do. The CW needs to get their priorities straight and give shows a chance to sprout and let it work itself out and see what happens
You have to be objective when evaluating and not look at this show through Vincat-colored glasses. Much potential for success with BATB but unfortunately they’ve shot themselves in the foot with the construction of this show this season and part of last.
There’s a reason why the ratings are so low.
I’ve had enough of the Gabe show. This is what you see most everywhere, pics of Cat with him. I’m totally sick of it. Season 1 was a beautiful love story, one we fell in love with, apart from the horrid Alex arc. We fought long and hard for a season 2, and this is what we get. First Vincent sleeping with Tori, now Cat with Gabe. What kind of a Beauty and the Beast is this? I’ve never seen any like this before. We all realize there has to be obstacles, but love triangles aren’t a part of this type of show. If they wanted this they should have called it something else. I remember watching season 1 over and over, countlessly, and this season, I have a hard time even watching it once. Brad Kerns came in and killed it. I still don’t understand why Jenn Levin and Sherri Cooper allowed this to happen. I’m not even excited anymore to see VinCat together. I feel nothing. I was hoping I would, but no. I keep seeing Alex/Tori, and Gabe. They keep saying hold on, VinCat is coming back soon, but after all they’ve done to them, what I say is, who cares.
Common let’s be fair! There have also been many great VinCat Scenes this season and I am hoping for many more to come.
In fact, if those Alex/Tori and Gabe interludes were only chosen for Vincent and Catherine to prove and verify that they are truely meant for each other inspite of their constant attempt to deny their destiny, that’s fine by me. Remember that Elisabeth Taylor and Richard Burton went through this in real life!

But I definitely agree that Gabe has got to let Cat go and return to Vincent !!!! May the best beast win :-)
And I am also looking forward to more funny JT comments in season 3.
Unfortunately the precious VinCat moments this season have been far and in between and when they’ve occurred shortly after something occurred to snatch them right back away again. That has been the legacy this season, why so many fans have left along with broadcasting on Monday nights. This is why the show is in jeopardy now. This is why comment sections such as this one have been cluttered by unhappiness and disappointment all season. Read and hear, no one who could change it when it was descending tried to change it’s descent to an ascent. Unfortunately “the fine by me” crowd is the minority and to get another season the majority is what helps ratings and will save this show. A precious resource Jay and Kristin along with JT and Tess was more squandered than used to their full potential. A sad commentary indeed. So now those of us who stayed will try to enjoy what we have left, that is all….it is what it is. #BATB.
I agree with most everyone here. VinCat is no longer the magical couple they were in S1. The character of Gabe has engulfed everyone else. I was one who watched the original 80’s BATB, with my mom, and now let me say, that VinCat still lives in my memory. They were the perfect example of EPIC love. My heart still soars when I think of them. I had high expectations as well for this new VinCat, and well, I couldn’t have been more mistaken. Firstly in S1 there was the ex-fiancé Alex, that Vincent went running back to, and only went back to Catherine because Alex dumped him. Then in S2 Vin becomes abusive to Catherine after saying he would never hurt her. He goes on to remembering being intimate with a girl named Isabella, in which he couldn’t stop smiling at the memory, (too bad it took so long to remember his intimacy with Cat, btw.) Then of course the lovely kiss with Tori which led to them sleeping together. (He really loved Cat, didn’t he)? And now we get our lovely Beauty jumping into bed with the man who tried and almost killed them in S1. Can’t get much more EPIC than this, now can you? They can’t even try to wipe this season away by making it a dream now, like I’ve seen some fans say. Because if this is Cat’s or Vin’s dream, then they’ve been dreaming of cheating on each other. Thanks writer’s for destroying this beautiful fairytale.

I have never bought into any Fab5. There were and still r imo only 4 main players important2 this show. Gabe served a purpose as an antogonist in the first season and it has been a bad decision 2keep him in season2 especially in the way he has been utilized. His character has been a waste of2 much precious airtime as well as a source of irritation 4Beasties and frankly I cant stand 2see r hear him in any capacity anymore! He needs 2go~NOW! And 4good. No offense 2the actor just useless aggravating character that frankly adds nothing 2this show except angry fans.
When vincent was feeling very beast with torian around I was feeling that I was loosing my feeling for this movie but if there is no ups and downs in a love life story will make no since. So I wish to see S3 soon♡♡♡
The multiple, extreme and so totally out of character extent of the ups and downs is issue never has been ups and down themselves b/c those r expected…still explaining this far down the path, surrender Dorothy plse! Dorothy has surrendered.
I’m flabberghasted by all these negative comments, two days before the next episode. If you have been watching the show you will have seen that Vincent & Catherine have been coming back together for a number of episodes now, since the Held Hostage one in fact. Yes, the break-up was pretty hard to take for a BATB fan and a fan of VinCat. But bear in mind all that Vincent (especially) has been through with losing his memory and being brainwashed into an emotionless killing machine. Cat lost her father (after losing her mum) found out he wasn’t her father, found out who her real father was and then found out what a complete and utter bastard HE was.
Like other fans of the show, I would rather this had not all happened and that it was Vincent and Catherine against the world as in Season 1. But this was season 2 and had to be different. The kiss in episode 15 meant alot. Catherine went to put space between her and Vincent but showed Vincent with her eyes that she wanted to be with him. He kissed her but gave her space to pull away, which she did do but only for a few seconds before she kissed him back. He then scooped her up in his arms and carried her off. What could be more romantic than that. I have seen Episode 16 and without giving plot away, I can confirm that the romance does not end there. Give it a chance. Serena and Marcy, if you feel nothing watching it then you are hard-hearted indeed. Stop watching altogether and let the rest of us bask in the remaining 6 or so episodes which, although not trouble free for Vincent and Catherine, will be lovely.
