This is interesting: There could be “fatal consequences” in the February 3 episode of Beauty and the Beast. Dare we hope…?

Don't Die on MeEither way, here is the description for the episode, which is called “Recipe For Disaster.”

WHEN J.T. GETS KIDNAPPED, IT ENDS IN DISASTER — Cat (Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent (Jay Ryan) must work together to save J.T. (Austin Basis) when he gets kidnapped, while Tori (guest star Amber Skye Noyes) attempts to intervene, with fatal consequences.  Meanwhile, a stranger (guest star Tom Everett Scott) from FBI Agent Dana Landon’s (guest star Elisabeth Rohm) past is rescued along with J.T., and might have some insight about Vincent’s beastly past.   Sendhil Ramamurthy and Nina Lisandrello also star.  Allan Kroeker directed the episode written by Brad Kern and Wendy Straker Hauser (#212).

      Another kidnapping? Really?

I hope Vincent and Tori dies, elope, disappear to Siberia, whatever, so I can watch a show about two detectives who do their job fabulously and bi*tch about their boss and the lack of serious bf material at the local pub. Rename the show Cat &Tess so I can watch the hell out of it. Written by Jennifer and Sherri of course. At least they wrote capable women in season one. Flawed but still capabal.

What is this crap? Vincent’s first words to Cat this season was “you are smokin hot.” Really? Way to state the obvious and just dismiss everything about her, tard. Who writes this crap. Season one is on Netflix. The new producers should watch it. There’s a big difference between confidence and a$$hole. Vincent was never that to Cat.

Why don’t the writers just go back to procedural and let the couple fight real criminals? They would have plenty of action. How many kidnappings have we had on this show? The writers are insulting our intelligence!Whoever came up with the idea of keeping them apart to see who they are is also ridiculous. The fans really want them together, but the writers can’t see if they don’t give the fans what they want, there won’t be a show.Yes, there are plenty of shows with the characters together that are action packed.I don’t want this show to get cancelled,so please come back to a normal direction. The only part of this season I like is Vincent’s beast and the action is higher paced.

    3. Lisa on Jan 16, 2014 6:35 pm

Hope the fatal part is that Tori will be gone. Hate her character. Hate Vincent around her too. Not happy with Season 2 so far. Writers need to bring the romance back or I doubt there will be a season 3.

    4. Jennifer on Jan 16, 2014 9:28 pm

A bit over the top reactions – While I agree the spoiler seems to hint that this is final episode for Tori’s character, I’m a bit shocked at the “hate” for the characters of Tori and Vincent for that matter for a show about love – between lovers, friends and family. I’m not a fan of the character of Tori, but hate, wow that’s goes too far. Vincent, yes he’s lost his way, but sometimes you have to hit rock bottom before you can rise up so I’m glad that Cat has walked away for now – this will make the journey back together more authentic. Knowing BATB writers and actors, when he does, it will be fantastic. I’ve feeling that the next season arc is going to start the rebuild of VinCat and remember they’re about to start the “mythology” and why perhaps they are destined to be together. As for repeat kidnapped themed episodes – that is exactly what they did last year – bad criminal, Vincent saved Cat or Murfield comes for Vincent and Cat/JT help him escape- didn’t hear people complaining about that year. Folks stay positive, I believe things are about to start going in the direction we’ve been waiting for.

Hi, I agree with one thing of previos comments. The detective part could be better. But the rest is totally best ever! Beauty and the Beast is an awesome love story.

    6. Dickens Hall on Jan 17, 2014 1:57 pm

I feel sorry for Tori. She has no one—Vincent as a mentor is all she has. No – there is no sexual chemistry between those two. Come on. There are so many more flavors of love in the world besides EPIC, Love-of-my-life. We all know that role is filled by Catherine when in comes to Vincent. And no, I don’t think Vincent loves Tori…but I do think he feels compassion for her. He and Gabe are the only two that know how awful it is to be burdened with being a beast. It is just colors on the canvas to give the picture depth. If Tori dies (and I think likely) I am pretty sure I will be sad but probably think it a great story. What teacher wouldn’t feel sad and like they failed a little to lose a student. I am liking Season 2 more and more. I think beasties that have stayed with the story have a sweet payoff coming right around the corner. This beastie is going to be there to celebrate and enjoy it. Join us. Come on. Good times are coming and you don’t want to miss them!!

    7. charity on Jan 17, 2014 4:57 pm

So Tori may or may not die or she ends up killing someone and probably leaves. Either way, it’s her last episode and good. I dislike the character and just want her gone. Writers said she wasn’t “another Alex”..well she isn’t, she’s 10 x worse. She is 10x more annoying. I just hope this time we aren’t left to wonder if Catherine is once again Vincent’s second choice just like she was when Alex left.

    8. Debbie Camelo on Jan 17, 2014 9:33 pm

Thank you Dickens Hall for, again, hitting this topic out of the park. Tori was and is an instrumental character for this Season 2. I feel the comparison to Alex is way off the mark because she was Vincent’s past before he became a Beast. Tori is a beast and the teacher/student comparison is how I feel. There will not be any more kissing with those two since I believe this is where some of the mythology comes into play. There could be an ancestral link between them that would make them “kissin cousins”, so no beastie love between them, just a shared compassion for what they been through, IMO! Amber is a wonderful actress and a very talented musician, so all the hate coming from our fandom was cruel! I was embarrassed by all the negative posts to her and to Jay, for that matter! Yes I agree that Season 2 to date is all over the place and not at all like Season 1, but for the better to be sure! Life isn’t fluffy bunnies and love can rip you to hypothetical pieces, but seriously, if any ONE of a #BeautyandtheBeast fan cannot see the slow journey back into VinCat love be a good thing, you must not have been paying attention to the interviews at Comic Con, TV Line and NY Comic Con. Jay and Kristin both said it would be a boring TV show and that’s the bottom line! I need them to enjoy what they are paid to do and that is ACT THEIR ASSES OFF! Brad Kern is telling us that Ep 16 will be worth the wait before they break and May will be pivotal in either airing the last 6 episodes and getting a Season 3, or not! Not trying to bring back unhappy fans and showing SUPPORT for what has been aired to date with POSITIVE FEEDBACK is not fair to the fans that have CAMPAIGNED TO THE MOON AND BACK to keep the show going! I would like to know how many letters, postcards, roof notes, videos, etc. the disgruntled fans have contributed to keeping #BATB alive for Season 3! I love that Catherine is finally “moving on” for now, that JT and Tess are tiptoeing around each other in an awww kind of way and that Vincent has finally realized his “V-8” moment when Cat tells him it’s the “end” for them. Their end will never happen, it’s destiny, but THE FANS’ END WILL COME if CBS and the CW don’t renew the BEST SHOW ON TV! Thanks for the chance to comment!

Thank you Debbie & Dickens Hall! You said it all!S2 has so much to offer, and although some Beasties have not been happy with what has happened so far, we all know that awesome thiongs lie ahead .S2 is getting better & better with each episode, so much is going on, so many questions that no Beasties have answers to- and THAT is what a good show is all about. How boring will it be if you knew exactly what was going to happen even before it did? Ep210 introduced a whole new -very exciting mystery and arc, and I cannot wait to see how this plays out, and what will happen.

    10. charity on Jan 21, 2014 5:53 pm

No more kissing? Tori not a love interest? I’m sure you’ve seen those photos by now, and I’m sure Vincent would be going around kissing his “sister” like that? It’s also obvious there is more going on between Vincent and Tori, and they are a couple. So, what now? How is that not worse than Alex? The only terrible part is the writers purposefully trying to “hide” Tori as Vincent’s love interest by cutting scenes and having Vincent clarify any relationship, but we can read between the lines. And btw, the writers lied. They told us Tori wouldn’t be a love interest and she would be so huge to the mythology. Her role in the mythology is so weak, they could’ve used any other character to bring forth what they know so far. Another fail from the writers this season.

    11. buffy on Jan 21, 2014 6:39 pm

Loving Season 2 of #BATB. The episodes so far have been awesome. Love the story line and the series has a bit of everything, i.e., crime, drama, mystery, intrigue, and an epic love story. There’s so much more the writers are going to reveal. #BATB should definitely be picked up for a 3rd Season. It has definitely found its legs and has taken off. One of the best series on The CW. I will be glad to see the Tori character go at some point. Tori is a whiney, spoiled, nagging girl who wants Vincent all to herself. She has a strange hold over his beast side which seems to control him to do her bidding. I would love it if Elisabeth Rohm is added to the cast in her FBI character of Dana Landon. Dana seems to know a lot about Cat and her connection to the mythology. The series is really getting sooo interesting. Can’t wait for the next episode on Monday nights. It’s a complete escape for me and all the #BATB fans who enjoy it immensely, Keep the awesome episodes coming.

    12. Diana on Jan 21, 2014 7:06 pm

I am looking forward to the episode when annoying Tori departs. So sick of her following Vincent around like she’s afraid to leave him alone for one second. She definitely doesn’t want him to go back to Cat and is hoping his loss of memory will never return so he won’t remember Cat. Tori is always sarcastic and mean to Cat and I can’t wait to see Cat kick her ass in #HeldHostage. It’s definitely time for the Tori character to leave. Much too annoying for us to stand much more of her. On the other hand, I would love it if #BATB brings Elisabeth Rohm in as a member of the regular cast. Elisabeth is an excellent actress and I love her cast as FBI Agent Dana Landon. She knows a lot about Cat and Cat’s heritage which is going to be very interesting as the mythology becomes clearer. Great story line – just love #BATB.

    13. red wig on Jan 21, 2014 9:12 pm

Catherine better have a red wig and a condom handy. That cold murderer is coming for you now that you are the default choice, again. Vincent belongs in prison. That would be a fitting ending.

    14. Monique on Jan 21, 2014 9:15 pm

Considering ep212 is suppose to be Tori’s last I’m going to go out on a limb and say she is the fatal consequences. As much as we may ‘dislike’ Tori’s presences she does have an important role to play – would never have found that skeleton or the gem and I personally think that regardless of what we may ‘see’ between Vincent and Tori – I don’t think it’s ‘exactly’ what we think it is. Complicated? I think so. Will beasties be on board about it? Remains to be seen. Excited to see this new character Sam aka manic archaeologist/Dana’s missing (presumed dead) hubby – that ought to be an interesting reunion eh. ;) I am also over the moon to see Vincent and Catherine coming together to save JT.

    15. Buffy on Jan 22, 2014 6:35 am

I definitely agree with your post Monique. However, I can’t help but hope it will be the last of the Tori character. She is a most annoying character. She seems to stick to Vincent like glue and keeps telling him over and over again “We’re in this together Vincent” and “We can do this together”. I think she has a hold of some kind over his mind. Since she came into Vincent’s life he has been more vicious when his beast side takes over and Cat and even J.T. can’t seem to reach him. It’s almost like Tori programs him to do her bidding, but if you notice, Tori is never actually there with him when he does these things. When he was going to kill Cat’s father, where was Tori, when he was at the Russian Embassy in the #Ancestors episode looking for the gem, where was Tori. Tori knows a lot more than what has been revealed about the collar and the gem. She said it was hers, but she doesn’t care about it. There’s a lot more that needs to be revealed about Tori and what her beastly powers are. After that they can get rid of her because she is a most annoying character, and really not essential to the story line anymore. But I’m completely on board with what you posted.
