Supergirl’s Melissa Benoist was so excited to work with “Batwoman” Ruby Rose in this year’s DC TV crossover “Elseworlds” that she decided to take a photo of the occasion.
“Indicative of my excitement that she’s here and kicking ass,” Benoist captioned the photo that went on Instagram to her millions of followers. At the time of this writing, the photo has over 400,000 “likes.”
“Elseworlds” is the name of the crossover that starts Sunday, December 9 with The Flash, continues December 10 on Arrow, and concludes with a special Tuesday episode of Supergirl. Ruby Rose makes her Arrowverse debut as Batwoman in the crossover, which also will see the return of Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman and the introduction of Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane. As a bonus, the farm from Smallville and John Wesley Shipp in full Flash 1990 costuming will be seen in the crossover. All three episodes will air on The CW.
