A star from The WB’s Birds of Prey is joining The CW’s Batwoman pilot.
Back in 2002, before there was a superhero show on every night of the TV schedule, Rachel Skarsten was one of the stars of Birds of Prey, a show about a Gotham City that Batman departed. Now, in 2019, she will star as the villain “Alice” in Batwoman, a show about a Gotham City that Batman departed.
Deadline broke the news and refers to her character as “Joker-esque.” She’s the leader of the Wonderland Gang and is “swinging unpredictably between maniacal and charming.” She’s start a revolution if she could get up in the morning. (Sorry, some Birds of Prey humor there.)
More recently, Skarsten starred on The CW’s Reign.
