FX has set a premiere date for the third season of acclaimed comedy Baskets, which will be returning Tuesday, January 23rd at 10:00. The previous two seasons of the show aired on Thursdays.
Season three of Baskets finds Christine (Louie Anderson) becoming President and CEO of the family rodeo business despite having never actually seen a rodeo before, while Chip (Zach Galifianakis) has difficulties adjusting to his first full-time job since Arby’s and Dale (Galifianakis) finds that no one will listen to him despite his prior business experience.
In addition to Galifianakis and Anderson, both of whom were Emmy nominated this year after the latter won in 2016, Baskets stars Martha Kelly (American Gods). The series joins an early 2018 lineup for FX that includes The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, which is slated to premiere Wednesday, January 17th at 10:00.
