    49th NAACP Image Award TV Nominees

    Nominations for the 49th NAACP Awards were announced on Monday and the leader of the pack on the TV side was Netflix with 23 nominations, having their vast catalog of originals represented by shows including Dear White People, Friends from College, and Stranger Things. OWN was represented by Queen Sugar and Greenleaf, while Survivor’s Remorse, The Carmichael Show, and Underground received nominations in their final year of eligibility.

    For its part, broadcast television was primarily represented by the likes of This Is Us, Scandal, and black-ish.

    The 49th NAACP Awards are set to air Monday, January 15th on TV One.
