This season on her hit television show, Amy has had to deal with rabid fans, a brush with death in her new freezer, vengeful turkeys, a violent landlord, a sugar-addicted bear, and the possibility of being haunted by a fellow TV hostess. It’s a lot of stress to deal with in the name of producing an acclaimed hospitality show, but she’s made it to the other side of the season mostly in tact and ready to throw a party to celebrate. But what happens when a natural disaster strikes the Research Triangle on the night of her big shindig?
On the season finale of At Home with Amy Sedaris, Amy puts together a game night for Chassie, Tony, Patty, Leslie, and local actor Johnny, thinking it will be a nice, low-key time with people she knows and, well, tolerates. However, the Research Triangle is soon hit by a raucous thundercane, throwing her plans into disorder. Panic ensues and the guests turn against one another, thereby leaving Amy with the impossible task of keeping everyone calm until the storm can pass. She’s shown herself to be fairly equipped to handle anything that comes in her way, but can Amy navigate a natural disaster while ensuring the safety of her guests?
