The CW has released a cast gallery for the currently airing seventh season of All American.
All American Season 7 stars Michael Evens Behling as Jordan Baker, Bre-Z as Tamia “Coop” Cooper, Greta Oniegou as Layla Keating, Nathaniel Logan McIntyre as KJ, Antonio J. Bell as Khalil, Osy Ikhile as Cassius, and Alexis Chikaeze as Amila. You can see new cast photos for each of those people in the gallery below. Unfortunately, The CW has not released a full description for the new season.
“We truly had lightning in a bottle with our OG cast and characters,” showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll reflected in a statement sent to press. “What are the chances of that happening twice? And then Nate McIntyre, Alexis Chikaeze and Antonio J. Bell walked in and my casting director, my fellow producers, my OG cast, my crew and I were all smitten. In the blink of an eye, we were in love with this new generation of Crenshaw and Beverly teens, and I was back to crying on my editors’ couches during cuts and throwing my shoes at their TVs (which is a compliment by the way) as I rooted for them, dreamed with them, relived high school and first loves and first loss and soul deep rivalries with them. These new characters had our whole hearts. And then add to the mix the incomparable Michael Behling, Greta Onieogou and Bre-Z as now reluctant adults just trying to figure out what being grown means, let alone trying to coach and mentor this new generation, and we suddenly had the perfect mix to create the magic of ALL AMERICAN all over again. It’s like being gifted a second love of your life. My God, how blessed are we.”
