Don’t Trust The B In Apartment 23 and Veronica Mars actress Krysten Ritter has landed the coveted role of Jessica Jones in the Marvel series of the same name that will be running on Netflix, according to a report on Deadline.
Considering the timing of the casting, it wouldn’t be surprising if Jessica Jones runs second, after Daredevil. Those two series will lead into two other series, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, and finally a team-up series called Defenders on Netflix.
Speaking of Luke Cage, the Deadline report notes that potential Jessicas were doing chemistry reads with Mike Colter (Ringer, The Following), who is said to be in the running for the Cage role. Could that mean he has landed the part? Time will tell.
