The actor who plays Murphy on The CW series The 100 will get a well-deserved promotion when it comes to the show’s third season.
It was announced tonight via Twitter that Richard Harmon will be a series regular when the show comes back for Season 3. The second season ended last night, and of course, a premiere date for Season 3 won’t be announced for a while, but for fans of Murphy, this will be welcome news.
The character of John Murphy has been a part of the show in the beginning and originally, the character would show up at the most inconvenient times. Season 2 gave his character more background, and for the latter half of the season, he went looking for the “City of Light” with Isaiah Washington’s Jaha.
“I guess since my boss already tweeted it I can say it, I’m coming back as a series regular next season. Honestly a dream come true,” Harmon said tonight on Twitter.
