“Mr. Spock” was one of the first TV characters etched into my young mind, pointy ears and all. My father would watch In Search Of on weekends. And when Leonard Nimoy appeared in JJ Abrams’ Star Trek reboot, it was one of the best parts of the whole film.
Of course, Leonard Nimoy had done a lot of other great things. Mission Impossible. Fringe. Maybe on “the other side” he’s still with us, but sadly, in this world he is gone.
Leonard Nimoy passed away today at the age of 83 after a battle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. To say that he will be missed is an understatement.
Live long and prosper.
