The 100 goes more into its final stretch of Season 2 episodes tonight with a strong entry called “Survival of the Fittest.” For those who are concerned about jumping on to a show that might not have a proper conclusion, or that there will be a continuous journey without answers or conclusion, Executive Producer Jason Rothenberg promises there will be payoff.
“The story gets told this season,” Rothenberg promised during a press Q&A held earlier this week. “For me, I like it when things change, and otherwise, personally, I get bored; creatively; and I get bored watching too, as a fan. So we tell story very quickly – some say too quickly at times – but we will resolve things. We’re not going to leave big mysteries out there, hanging for years and years and years.”
“We just finished making the finale, and I can tell you that we turn things again, the way the White Room turned things last season into the next season. Because we’re amazingly blessed to have been told that we have a third season already, it was already my plan to do it,” he said, adding that there was some question at first whether to write a season finale or a season finale.
“Now, we know that we’re going to get to keep telling this story, and playing with these characters. I think that people won’t be disappointed with the big turn that we take next season,” he teased.
The 100 is new Wednesdays at 9PM (ET/PT) on The CW.
