Although Lolly is still curious to know what happens in the future that destroys her friendship with Becca, she trusts her friend enough to let sleeping dogs lie and use this opportunity to secure their relationship. Now that she knows things go awry with Becca in the future, she can better protect their friendship from its seemingly inevitable decline. But what Becca didn’t count on is the fact that Lolly thinks she can change everything about the future, including the downfall of her romance with Jamie. No matter how much warning Becca gives her, Lolly is bound and determined to keep things alive with Jamie, yet would she be willing to risk her friendship with Becca for the chance of turning things around in her love life?
On the next episode of Hindsight, Becca decides to spend Halloween with Jamie rather than having her traditional night with Becca. For better or worse, Lolly is the only person Becca has to rely on now that she’s back in 1995 and taking away that security, that assurance that she’ll never feel alone during the toughest time in her life, could end up catastrophic for Becca. Until she becomes more acclimated to her environment, Becca needs Lolly to stick close by and this deception, no matter how well-intentioned Lolly might be in staying with Jamie, isn’t going to do their friendship any good. As much as the two have fretted about what happens in another decade that ruins what was then a life-long relationship, their most pressing issue remains the present.
