Power Rangers Megaforce: Season 2 Spoilers, Including New and Returning Cast!

There’s no new Power Rangers Megaforce today—it will return March 30 with the debut of the new sixth teammate in “Robo Knight.” But to make up for it, here are a few leaked photos from the filming of season 2, tentatively titled Power Rangers Super Megaforce (what a mouthful of a title that is, huh?)

The photos, which have been posted and leaked by actors Andrew Gray, Ciara Hanna and members of the production staff, have been compiled on Rangercrew’s blog for convenience. While it’s been speculated for a while, this is the first confirmation that we’ll be seeing past Power Rangers on the show—both in Ranger form and as their actors.

Ciara Hanna revealed the biggest news, posting a photo with Jason Smith, who played the similarly tiger-themed Red Ranger Casey in 2008’s Power Rangers Jungle Fury. The Black Ranger from 2002’s Power Rangers Wild Force was also spotted on set, though actor Jack Guzman has not been, which leaves it open as to whether this will be a returning character or just a reuse of the costume/powers. Additionally, a photo of the weapons from 2001’s Power Rangers Time Force was posted by Andrew Gray, though there’s no indication of if or how they’ll be used.

And while it might be overshadowed by the nostalgic references, there are still going to be some new things happening, too. Cameron Jebo has reportedly been cast as season 2’s Silver Ranger, named “Zador” on the casting side, though this could very well be a placeholder.

Season 1 has admittedly been off to a slow, rather simple start thus far, but it looks like the show is saving the best stuff for its true anniversary run next year. We’ve still got a ways to go before we get there, though, so stay tuned for more information as it becomes available!

Power Rangers Megaforce airs Saturdays at 1 p.m/12c on Nickelodeon.

This show is dead to me until the REAL Power Rangers show up…The Mighty Morphin’ ones!

You know what? Jungle Fury wasn’t a bad season. It was actually really fun and underrated. I wouldn’t mind Jason Smith coming back. I’d like to see some In Space, Time Force and RPM actors come back as well. If a MMPR actor comes back, it should be Walter Jones since Jason David Frank is overused, Austin St. John and David Yost didn’t want in last I checked, Amy Jo Johnson and Johnny Yong Bosch are pretty established actors now, Thuy Trang is sadly deceased and Steve Cardenas and Karan Ashley will leave people whining for an original member. Just my two cents.

MMPR was one of the more overrated series. Bare minimum plot, one dimensional characters, bad dialoge bad editing.
Season 3 was really the beginning of anything resembling a story.
It didn’t really get good until In Space great story deep characters and villains and great writing. MMPR was a good stepping stone but is was pretty much a prototype for the series

The Power Rangers Megaforce is so lame that i don’t know if they will make season 1. but it will be much better if they have other past power rangers in Megaforce
