AMC has changed the premiere dates for its broadcast of Shudder original Creepshow and the second season of Joe Hill adaptation NOS4A2.
Originally set to unspool its six-episode first season across three weeks, Creepshow will now air one episode per week beginning Monday, May 4th at 10:00. The series, based on the 1982 Stephen King movie of the same name and developed by Greg Nicotero (The Walking Dead), is an episodic anthology with two close-ended stories per episode. It features guest appearances from the likes of David Arquette (Scream), Adrienne Barbeau (The Fog), Tobin Bell (Saw), Big Boi (Scream: The TV Series), Jeffrey Combs (Star Trek), Kid Cudi (Drunk Parents), Bruce Davison (X-Men), and Giancarlo Esposito (Better Call Saul).
With Creepshow occupying Mondays at 10:00, NOS4A2 season two will now premiere Sunday, June 21st at 9:00, where it will be simulcast on BBC America. The series, starring the likes of Ashleigh Cummings and Zachary Quinto, had its Monday, June 1st premiere date announced earlier this month. Season two of NOS4A2 jumps ahead in time eight years from the events of the season one finale and follows Vic and Charlie as they do battle over the soul of Vic’s eight-year-old son.
The network also revealed that episodic sci-fi anthology Soulmates is set to premiere sometime this fall. From Will Bridges (Black Mirror) and Brett Goldstein (Derek), the series is set in a world 15 years in the future where there’s a test that unequivocally tells you who your soulmate is. Guest stars include Sarah Snook (Succession), David Costabile (Breaking Bad), Sonya Cassidy (Humans), Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things), Malin Akerman (Billions), Betsy Brandt (Life in Pieces), and JJ Feild (Turn).
