Good news and bad news, Lucifans: The good news is that Lucifer has been renewed for Season 5 at Netflix! The bad news, however, is it will be the final season.
TV Line broke the exclusive today, complete with a statement by Executive Producers Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich:
“We are so incredibly thankful to Netflix for resurrecting our show last season, and now letting us finish the story of Lucifer on our terms,” they said. “Most importantly, we want to thank the fans for their incredible passion and support. The best is yet to come!”
Netflix picked up Lucifer for Season 4 after three seasons on the FOX network; an episode count for the fifth season has not yet been announced.
