Cinemax has announced a September 9 premiere date for their new drama series Quarry, and in doing so, they have released an episode schedule with a guide to every episode of the eight-episode season.

    Here’s the press release.

CINEMAX DRAMA SERIES QUARRY DEBUTS SEPT. 9

When U.S. Marine Mac Conway returns home to Memphis from Vietnam in 1972, he finds himself shunned by those he loves and demonized by the public he fought for. While struggling with the nightmarish experiences he witnessed and took part in, Conway is unwillingly drawn into a network of killing that spans the length of the Mississippi River.

Based on the bestselling books of Max Allan Collins (“The Road to Perdition”), the CINEMAX drama series QUARRY begins its eight-episode season FRIDAY, SEPT. 9 (10:00-11:15 p.m. ET/PT). The series is created and written by Michael D. Fuller & Graham Gordy (“Rectified”), who executive produce along with Steve Golin (HBO’s Emmy®-nominated “True Detective”; the Emmy®-nominated “Mr. Robot”; the Oscar®-winning “Spotlight”; the Oscar®-nominated “The Revenant”). Emmy® winner Greg Yaitanes (CINEMAX’s Emmy®-winning “Banshee”; “House”) serves as executive producer and showrunner, and also directs all eight episodes.

Logan Marshall-Green (“Spider-Man: Homecoming,” “Prometheus”) stars as Mac Conway, aka Quarry, who is trying to readapt to normal society after Vietnam. Struggling to make ends meet, he is lured into an underground killing network.

Jodi Balfour (“Final Destination 5”) stars as Joni, the love of Mac’s life and a reporter at the local newspaper. Though devoted to him, Joni has outgrown her old life in his absence.

Peter Mullan (HBO’s “Olive Kitteridge”) stars as The Broker, a cunning, secretive crime boss who has a network of powerful criminals at his command and has taken a special interest in Conway.

Other cast members include: Nikki Amuka-Bird (“Luther”) as Ruth, a hardworking mother who is Joni’s close friend; Damon Herriman (“Justified”) as Buddy, Edoardo Ballerini as Karl, and Mustafa Shakir (HBO’s “The Night Of”) as Moses, three of The Broker’s most capable and ruthless henchmen; Jamie Hector (HBO’s “The Wire”) as Arthur, Ruth’s husband and Mac’s best friend, who is also a Vietnam vet; Ann Dowd (HBO’s “The Leftovers” and “True Detective”) as Naomi, Buddy’s doting but unconventional mother; Skipp Sudduth (“Ronin”) as Lloyd, Mac’s father; Josh Randall (“Ed,” “Scrubs”) as Detective Tommy Olsen, a dedicated member of the Memphis Police Department; and Kurt Yaeger (“Sons of Anarchy”) as Suggs, who has fallen within The Broker’s sights.

An HBO Entertainment production in association with Anonymous Content, the series is also executive produced by Matt DeRoss (“The End of the Tour”), David Kanter (“The End of the Tour”), Max Allan Collins (“The Road to Perdition”) and Ken F. Levin (“The Scribbler”). Additional writers on the series include Jennifer Schuur (“Hannibal”) and Max Allan Collins.
