    Not so fast: FOX has already revised the schedule they released a few days ago for the 2016-2017 TV season. The revised schedule will delay the return of Bones and will now put new baseball drama Pitch up against football.

    FOX ANNOUNCES REVISED SCHEDULE FOR 2016-2017 SEASON

    New Drama PITCH to premiere Fall 2016;
    Farewell 12th Season of BONES to Air Winter 2017;
    PRISON BREAK to move to Tuesdays in Spring 2017

    PitchFOX announced today a revised schedule for the 2016-2017 television season.

    New drama PITCH will move up to air Thursdays in Fall 2016, the Farewell 12th season of BONES will air Thursdays in Winter 2017 and PRISON BREAK will air Tuesdays in Spring 2017.

    From executive producer Dan Fogelman (“Crazy, Stupid, Love.”), PITCH is the dramatic and emotional story of GINNY BAKER (Kylie Bunbury, “Under The Dome”), who becomes the first woman to play Major League Baseball – under the glare of a white-hot media spotlight. The inspiring series also stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar (“Franklin & Bash,” “NYPD Blue”), Ali Larter (“Legends,” “Heroes”), Mark Consuelos (“Kingdom,” “All My Children”) and Dan Lauria (“The Wonder Years”).

    In the next action-packed chapter of PRISON BREAK, original series stars Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Sarah Wayne Callies, Amaury Nolasco, Robert Knepper, Rockmond Dunbar and Paul Adelstein are reunited for an all-new adventure spanning the globe. When clues surface that suggest a previously thought-to-be-dead MICHAEL SCOFIELD (Miller, “The Loft”) may be alive, his brother, LINCOLN BURROWS (Purcell, “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow”), reunites with Michael’s wife, SARA (Callies, “Colony,” “The Walking Dead”), and Fox River State Penitentiary’s most notorious escapees to engineer the series’ biggest breakout ever.

    Long-running comedic procedural BONES returns for its final farewell 12th season in the winter, celebrating the inventive series and bringing the storylines of Brennan (Emily Deschanel), Booth (David Boreanaz) and the Jeffersonian-FBI team to a close. When BONES ends its run, the series will have completed 246 original episodes, making it one of the longest running FOX series ever.

    Following are the revised FOX fall 2016 primetime schedule and revised FOX midseason 2016-2017 primetime schedule:
