Although his character of Teddy Montgomery became the first major recurring gay character in 90210 history, the show will be saying goodbye to Trevor Donovan when the show returns for its fourth season.
TVLine broke the news today, and they reveal he will be guest starring for “roughly five episodes” this Fall. Lori Loughlin and Ryan Eggold have already been announced to be leaving the show; no word on who might be next.
Here is what Donovan Tweeted this afternoon:
“Before everyone gets all upset, I’ll be back as a guest star for a handful of shows. Look at it this way…we got a chance to bring to the forefront an epic storyline, that helped and entertained, I got to meet all of you…and you get come along with me where ever I go next.. It’s not over…..it’s new beginning!!! Thanks for the support….you guys are the best ever… Love you DONunts :-)”

I AM GLAD THAT TREVOR DONOVAN WILL STILL MADE SOME QUEST APPEARING. I JUST WISH TEDDY WOULD GET A SPIN-OFF SERIES. IT WOULD BE INTERESTED TO SEE HOW HE REBUILT HIS LIFE IN THE REAL WORLD. GOOD LUCK TO THE FUTURE. YOUR TRULY CHARLES DAVID HASKELL
