CBS has released the trailer for tech procedural Wisdom of the Crowd and in it, we see that sometimes the best way to heal from tragedy is to help others in the same situation.
Based on the Israeli format of the same name and adapted for American television by Ted Humphrey, Wisdom of the Crowd follows tech innovator Jeffrey Tanner (Jeremy Piven) as he develops an online platform for publicly shared information. Originally, Tanner develops the app solely for the purpose of solving his daughter’s murder, but once he sees its success and the type of closure that it can bring those like him, he realizes that he’s created something bigger than himself.
In addition to Piven, Wisdom of the Crowd stars Monica Potter (Parenthood), Richard T. Jones (Narcos), Natalie Tena (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix), Blake Lee (Mixology), and Jake Matthews (Bosch).
Wisdom of the Crowd is set to air Sundays at 8:00 on CBS. You can check out the network’s full fall schedule here.
Will you be watching? What do you think will separate Wisdom of the Crowd from fellow tech procedurals APB and Pure Genius? Would you like to see CBS embrace technology more in their procedurals?
