KSiteTV’s Craig Byrne just got back home from a screening of the Feb. 9 episode of The Vampire Diaries, which is called “Dangerous Liaisons.” You can see a gallery of images from the episode here, but if you want some spoilery teases, you’re in luck there too.

Here are ten things you could be looking forward to on Thursday night. Be warned of spoilers, and please do not reproduce this onto other websites – instead, just link to KSiteTV. Thanks!

1. The Originals have a last name. I have a feeling this may have been teased in a promo, but in case it hasn’t been, the Original family is using a last name, and it’s probably a good thing, so the people of Mystic Falls all know which family is throwing a huge party to celebrate them all coming together again.

2. Someone says “I love you.” That person may or may not have said it before, but we hear those three words.

3. Bonnie, Jeremy, Tyler, Alaric, Meredith, and Abby are all absent. Although we do hear the voice of one of those people within the episode.

4. Esther (the Original mother) wants to meet with Elena. This can’t be good, can it?

5. Kol & Rebekah are the naughty children. As much of a disappointment as Klaus has been to Esther, even though she has forgiven him, Kol and Rebekah are up to bad behavior in this one. I really like these actors and these characters and hope we see more of them.

6. Caroline and Matt get invitations to the party from possibly-unlikely suitors. You can probably guess which Original invited Caroline, but more surprising may be the identity of the one who has her eyes on Matt.

7. Elena walks into the ball with Stefan and Damon on each arm. But which one does she leave with? And which of the brothers gets to dance with her at the party?

8. Matt Donovan is a regular guy. He drives a pick-up truck, he works at Mystic Falls, worries about his health insurance, and he’s chilling at the Mystic Grill. Could his life be the simplest of anyone’s?

9. There’s some cool interaction between Elijah and Elena. ‘Nuff said.

10. There’s an unexpected hookup. I don’t think anyone will see this coming, and that’s all I will say.

As I tweeted tonight, this episode is insane, in a good way. ‘Shippers will be talking for a while…

So check it out. Thursday at 8 (ET) on The CW. And again, enjoy some pictures!

Share.
