Deadline is reporting that A&E has renewed critically acclaimed reality series Born This Way for a fourth season. The Emmy winner will have another eight episodes to document the lives of a diverse group of young men and women with Down syndrome as they pursue their passions and lifelong dreams, explore friendships, romantic relationships, and work.

Comedy Central will be airing at 8-day, 250-episode marathon of South Park leading into its season premiere.

In development news:

NBC has given a put pilot to Manifest, a serialized thriller about what happens when a plane that disappeared five years earlier suddenly returns.

FOX has given a put pilot to an untitled romantic comedy with the logline “Girl meets boy, boy very much doesn’t notice. Girl meets bus, boy notices… sort of.” The series is executive produced by Nahnatcha Khan (Fresh Off the Boat).

CBS has put an untitled legal drama from Quantico creator Joshua Safran in development. The series centers on a high-powered corporate attorney who joins the Texas legal team defending her wealthy estranged husband after he is arrested for the decades-old unsolved murder of his first wife.

Ed Burns is helping to develop a series adaptation of The Progeny, a novel from Tosca Lee that centers on Audra, a regular girl from Maine who is suddenly made aware that she is a direct descendant of infamous serial killer Elizabeth Bathory. The series is currently unattached to a specific network.

Comedy Central has released the first promo for The Opposition with Jordan Klepper, its upcoming Daily Show spinoff that finds Klepper satirizing the alternative-media landscape on both the right and left.

FX has released the first trailer for American Horror Story: Cult, which is set to premiere Tuesday, September 5th at 10:00. The season will be based around a controversial election and the subsequent aftermath.

FXX has released another look at the upcoming season of You’re the Worst, which finds Gretchen reeling after what happened with Jimmy. The show returns with a one-hour premiere Wednesday, September 6th at 10:00.
