SundanceTV has set a premiere date for acclaimed dramedy This Close, which follows two deaf best friends living in Los Angeles. SundanceTV Sets This Close Season 2 Premiere Date

SundanceTV has announced that the second season of acclaimed dramedy This Close will premiere Thursday, September 12th at 9:00 with back-to-back episodes. The series will air out the remainder of its eight-episode order through back-to-back episodes Friday, September 13th; Thursday, September 19th; and Friday, September 20th.

Set to guest star on This Close this season are Marcia Cross (Desperate Housewives), Camryn Manheim (Waco), Steven Weber (Channel Zero), Austin Nichols (The Walking Dead), Lisa Rinna (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills), Margaret Cho (Bright), and Millicent Simmonds (A Quiet Place), with Zach Gilford, Colt Prattes, Marlee Matlin, Cheryl Hines, Nyle DiMarco, and Moshe Kasher reprising their season one roles.

From Shoshannah Stern (Weeds) and Josh Feldman (Fridays), This Close follows Kate and Michael, two deaf best friends whose connection is the only thing that gets them through the rough parts of life. Season two finds the two struggling to rebuild their relationship after the events of the first season finale, while Kate looks to find her voice at work and Michael tries to walk the straight and narrow path he’s often avoided.
