AMC has announced that the sixth season of The Walking Dead will premiere Sunday, October 11th at 9:00 with a special 90-minute episode. While the season premieres of Talking Dead and Comic Book Men will follow at 10:30 and midnight, respectively, the international premiere of The Walking Dead season six will come within 24 hours of the US premiere.

Additionally, AMC will be airing a season six preview special on Sunday, August 23rd at 8:00, an hour-long look at the upcoming season that will feature interviews with cast members and a behind the scenes glimpse at what to expect this fall. For fans who want to catch up on The Walking Dead, or simply want to relive the horrors of the past five seasons, the road Rick and company have traveled thus far will be replayed beginning Sunday, July 23rd at 2:30 p.m. In an event AMC is calling “5 Seasons/5 Sundays,” every Sunday through August 23rd will feature an entire season of The Walking Dead replayed in its entirety.

The remaining eight episodes of The Walking Dead season six are also set to premiere in February 2016. You can check out the first official trailer for season six below.
