Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Eagleheart alum Chris Elliott will be guest starring on the upcoming fourth season of The Last Man on Earth. He’ll be playing Glenn, a castaway on a deserted island that Phil and the rest of the gang encounter in their journey away from the active nuclear reactors in the United States, beginning with the season’s second episode.
The Last Man on Earth will also see the return of Kristen Wiig (Saturday Night Live) as former socialite Pam, who appeared in the midseason premiere (for which she should have gotten an Emmy nomination) and third season finale. She’ll be appearing in at least three episodes this season, with her character having killed Pat to end season three and finding herself grappling with the reality of what she did to begin season four.
In addition to his role on the Adult Swim comedy, Elliott has appeared on the likes of Schitt’s Creek, Fresh Off the Boat, and How I Met Your Mother. Wiig’s television credits include The Spoils of Babylon, Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later, and Nobodies.
The fourth season of The Last Man on Earth is set to premiere Sunday, October 1st at 9:30 on FOX.
