TV Line is reporting that Sleepy Hollow alum Jessica Camacho has joined the rebooted second season of NBC drama Taken. She’ll be playing former Army captain Santana, a highly intelligent rule breaker who is all wit and bravado.

Based on the Liam Neeson film series and developed for television by Alexander Cary (Homeland), Taken focuses on former Green Beret Bryan Mills (Clive Standen) as he begins works as a special intelligence operative with the goal of exacting revenge for personal tragedy. Wanting a more procedural storyline, NBC sacked every supporting player except Jennifer Beals (The L Word) as Special Deputy Director of National Intelligence Christina Hart after renewing the show for a second season and brought in Greg Plageman (Person of Interest) as a new showrunner.

In addition to her role on the FOX supernatural drama, Camacho’s appeared on the likes of The Flash, Frequency, and Minority Report. She becomes the first new addition to season two of Taken, which should be announcing more casting in the coming months.

Originally scheduled to air this fall, the second season of Taken will (presumably) arrive sometime midseason on NBC.
